Making (mostly) last checks and getting everything into the internal frame backpack, tiny duffle and messenger bag I'm bringing and cursing the weight of all of the books I'm bringing (most are required, so it's not (read: not all) my fault.
Can't wait to hear more! Did you have any issues within the airport-any funny stories, funny people? Did your planes arrive when they said? Was it interesting meeting the people who are going into the same program? How many of you are there? Do you have access to a computer? Will that change much when you live with the family? Have you noticed big differences in the countries yet? Airports? People? You know me, lots of questions. Miss you. Love you, mom
Airport was uneventful and everything went smoothly. I found other kids in the program because they looked like bennington kids. There are 18 of us in total and we are from all over the states.
